Healing Forward Restoration Assistance Program

Healing Forward Foundation provides limited short-term stabilization support for eligible women and families experiencing temporary hardship in Wicomico County and surrounding Eastern Shore communities.

Our goal is to provide compassionate, practical support while helping individuals and families move toward greater stability through encouragement, mentorship, and resource connection.

Support May Include

🏠 Limited rent stabilization assistance

💡 Utility hardship assistance

🍽 Grocery support

🧴 Hygiene / essential needs assistance

⛽ Limited transportation assistance

💛 Mentorship / encouragement support

🤝 Community resource referrals

General Eligibility Guidelines

Applicants generally should:

✔ Be a woman or family experiencing temporary hardship

✔ Reside in Wicomico County or surrounding Eastern Shore communities

✔ Demonstrate documented need

✔ Meet general income eligibility guidelines

✔ Provide required documentation

✔ Participate in verification if requested

Healing Forward Foundation assistance is limited and based on:

• available funding

• eligibility review

• documentation verification

• organizational approval

Submission of a request does not guarantee assistance.

Documentation May Include

• Government-issued photo identification

• Proof of address

• Proof of income / benefits

• Lease / rent statement (if applicable)

• Utility bill / shutoff notice (if applicable)

• Transportation documentation (if applicable)

• Written hardship statement
